Alma de Colores Restaurant

The Alma de Colores Restaurant is a fantastic stop for visitors to San Juan la Laguna. The restaurant employs graduates of the physical and vocational training courses from Centro Maya who have created a warm and welcoming experience for their clients. The menu is filled with diverse vegetarian dishes (all grown in the organic garden staffed by Centro Maya graduates). Food is prepared and served under the guidance of a chef from Europe. 

Through sales of coffee, Greater Good funds purchased meals from the restaurant to be donated to famiies in need. Over 100 meals were purchasd, prepared by the staff of Alma de Colores, and donated to families facing difficult economic situations during the 2020 -21 pandemic crisis. As a result, the restaurant was able to retain many of their staff during the lean economic times created by the pandemic.
